Dion Myles is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multidisciplinary artist creating emotionally driven music at the intersection of atmospheric dark electro pop and alternative r&b, mixed with ambient, energetic, and cinematic music production, and introspective storytelling and songwriting.

Her forthcoming debut EP, The MYLS DYN Project, explores themes of love, longing, hope, resilience, self-empowerment, trust, transformation, and surrender - writing from the space between the person we once were and the person we are still becoming.

Raised in a family of musicians, Dion grew up with music as both a language and a way of life. Her father toured professionally as a musician and was a bandleader, and that early proximity to performance helped shape a relationship with music that would continue throughout her life. 

​

Her own path, however, would be anything but linear. Years spent working within music, entertainment, technology and creative organizations, including Sony Music, E! Entertainment, XPRIZE and SESAC Music Group, placed her close to the machinery of creative industries while an artistic voice of her own continued developing beneath the surface.

Drawing from atmospheric electronic music, alternative pop and R&B, and cinematic sound design, Dion creates music that lives in the space between vulnerability and strength. With the use of lush electronic production, layered vocals, haunting textures and deeply personal songwriting, the sonic world becomes the landscape for stories about love, desire, fear, rejection, healing, self-empowerment, and transformation. The result is music that is at once intimate and expansive, and rooted in lived experience while reaching toward something more transcendent.

The project also reflects Dion’s fascination with the evolving relationship between human creativity and technology. Rather than allowing technology to replace the artist, the MYLS DYN project explores how emerging tools can become extensions of human imagination. At its center, however, the project remains deeply human.

Her debut single, HEAD ABOVE WATER, introduces that world through a song about fighting to remain present when life feels determined to pull you under. Written from a place of uncertainty and transition, the track transforms survival into growth and forward movement.

After returning to school as an adult and completing her bachelor's degree at Berklee College of Music, Dion arrives at this chapter not as an artist searching for who she is, but as one finally creating the space to reveal what has been there all along. 

 

The MYLS DYN Project is both an arrival and a beginning, and an evolving body of music, imagery and storytelling built around the idea that art is transformation, and transformation is in itself, an art.
